Day 1

7TH DEC - Arrival at Trichy airport. You will be picked and will be transffered to the hotel. Situated in Tiruchirappalli district, on the banks of the River Kaveri (also spelt as Cauvery) is Tiruchirappalli, a city known for its educational institutions, industries, and temples. It is shortly called as "Tiruchi" or "Trichy".

Day 2

8TH DEC - After breakfast check out from the hotel and head to Madurai. On reaching Madurai, check in for 2 nights. One of South India's great temple towns, Madurai is synonymous with the celebrated Meenakshi Temple. Situated on the banks of river Vaigai, Madurai has a rich cultural heritage passed on from the great Tamil era more than 2500 years old. Madurai was an important cultural and commercial centre even as early as 550 AD. It was the capital city for the great Pandya kings.

Day 3

9TH DEC - Full day for sightseeing in Madurai

Day 4

By morning check out from Madurai and proceed to Periyar. Periyar (Thekkady) Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the well maintained wildlife sanctuaries of South India and is spread out over an area of 777 sq kms. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar dam across the Periyar river adds to the charm of the park.. Day, free at the sanctuary. A nice little trekking trip through the forest at your choice. Evening, go for Spice Plantation visit where you can touch, smell and taste almost all the spices seen worldwide. In these private spice plantations you will see how the spices actually grow in their plant form.

Day 5

11TH DEC - By 9am proceed to Munnar. (3hrs / 110 kms) Munnar - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country.Set at an altitude of 6000 ft in Idukki district, Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days.Unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys and mountains- exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests - aroma of spice scented cool air - yes! Munnar has all these and more.

Day 6

12TH DEC - Head to Aleppey by morning. (4hrs / 160 kms) Alleppey is often called 'Venice of the East'. The town's commercial centre lives in a maze of canals. On arrival, embark on a Houseboat for an overnight cruise through the scenic backwaters of Kerala. All meals on board. Overnight at houseboat.

Day 7

13TH DEC - Disembark from the houseboat and drive to Kochi. (2 hrs) Cochin (Kochi), the palm green commercial capital of Kerala is located on the cluster of islands and narrow peninsulas. Here you can see one of the oldest churches in India, a winding street crammed with 500 year old Portuguese houses, cantilevered Chinese Fishing nets and a 16th century Jewish Synagogue. Cochin was a trading port since Roman times and was one of the main trade routes between Europe and China. Check in at hotel for 01 night. Afternoon, proceed for a city tour covering the historic sights & monuments. Evening, watch the Kathakali performance in the local theatre.

Day 8

14TH DEC - Full day for sightseeing at kochi.

Day 9

The last day of tour. You will be picked up and dropped to the Kochi International airport for your flight to your home town
